Today on the blog I want to share with you 3 ways that you can end the struggle in your business. I know as an entrepreneur that building a business is hard work! But, don’t let that stop you from building anyways! I am at 2 1/2 years of business with iPlanner and Company and a total of 13+ years in business for myself. So, I know there are ups and downs in business and there are always struggles to be overcome.
Tip #1: Define Your Struggle
What is it that keeps you struggling in your business? I suggest you sit down with a notebook and outline all the pros and cons of being in business for yourself. It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re only focusing on the cons. But, lets face it, there are Pro’s too!
Tip #2: Set Goals
So you’ve identified some struggles or cons in your business, now it’s time to set goals to overcome those struggles! Setting goals may seem like something everyone is talking about these days and it does come up often, however it’s very important! Someone without goals doesn’t have a plan and if you don’t have a plan, then you plan to fail. Take out your desk calendar and start setting those goals.Setting goals in business is super important! Tip #3: Tackle the problem in bite sized pieces
The phrase “How do you eat an elephant?” comes to mind when thinking about something that is difficult to get done in your business. Well the answer is “bite by bite!” So in other words you need to break down tasks even those you dislike into bite sized pieces, don’t try to tackle it all at once. Tackling it all at once will cause overwhelm.3 Tips to help you overcome struggles in your business: Tip #3: tackle it one bite at a time. #business #goals #howtoeatanelephant #businesscoach Click To Tweet
Bonus Tip: Outsource
Ok, you’ve defined what you’re struggling with, now it’s time to tackle it. However, maybe it’s something that you just don’t know how to do, or something you would rather not do, why not hand it off to an expert and let them tackle it. You can find people to do marketing, sales, web design, email management, calendar management and so much more. It makes things go so much smoother and then you have more time to spend with clients and on the things that you really love!
